PC SOFTWARE DOWNLOADS

Please see the list of software downloads below. It is important that you choose the correct firmware version for your bike to ensure your controller operates correctly. You can easily switch out the firmware to a different type if you change components, such as a battery, which would require this.  **Please note software development for KO Moto products is ongoing with some very large changes due imminently to our mobile app.

NOTES ON TUNING FILES

The tuning files on this website are designed to allow users to get a feel for the bike and give them the option of not having to tweak too many settings on the software. T. You can and should tweak settings after installing these to get the bike feel right, this is not a maximum performance tune out of this box as this will be different for every set up. Please note you will still need to calibrate the throttle to your requirements. In addition there is no "one size fits all tune" everyone will be comfortable with something different, and we are here to support our users should they require our help.  Whenever you upload a tune to your controller please use the "Recovery" button in the controller parameters section of the software.

60 + 72V UPDATES - NOTES

NANO

PRO SERIES
MAX DC 400A MAX PHASE CURRENT 800A

FACTORY SPEC SERIES
MAX DC 450A MAX PHASE CURRENT 830A

This update includes further increases of motor braking at higher rpm to reduce the feeling of delay at lower and higher dc values. We have tried to keep the throttle feeling as smooth as we can whilst still providing a dirt bike style feel and better stunt riding characteristics, especially for wheelies and MX style riding.

Set Follow to EABS if regen braking is required and adjust StopBackCurr and MaxBackCurr to adjust the level of braking. MaxBackCurr should always be higher. We would suggest setting this to 20 and 25 respectively initially just to test and adjusting from there.

Pole Pairs should be set to 4

Set Phase and MaxLineCurr according to your battery specifications

Stock Battery Recommended

MaxLineCurr - 90A or lower
MaxPhaseCurr - 520 or lower

ByPass Battery (We do not recommend bypassing your battery as it can result in failure. If you want to do so, then this is at your own risk).

MaxLineCurr - 140A or lower
MaxPhaseCurr - 520 or lower

3RD Party Battery

As per battery specs - email us or contact us on discord if you aren't sure.

AN should be set to 9 (can be changed from 0-16)

RPM Adjustments - If changing the base tune
For stunt riding we have found a parabolic curve gives the best results. An Example tune -  Start at around 60-75 on 500RPM and build up to 100 at around 2000RPM. Keep at 100 until 4500 RPM then slowly drop off. This is just an indication and should be used as such. Feel free to tweak these adjustments to however you like them. If you need tuning support please email us for the discord link, or hop on discord any message any KO-Moto staff.  As with any firmware update please allow yourself time to get used to the changes and ride safely.
